As the name suggests, the Snug is nestled in a grassy bank which opens out to views over the valley towards the coast. Shared fridges and freezer are really helpful and the showers are nice and hot, just remember to bring a stash of 20ps. This had a wonderful sea view and view over the campsite, however, it felt very exposed and was very close to the amenities which were attached to a local (quite noisy) water bottling business which we were not expecting. It's a brilliant location - Beesands beach was remarkably quiet, even at peak season, and we also loved East Portlemouth and South Sands (Salcombe) beaches. Good location not far from a couple of beaches (nearest is 4mins drive / 20mins walk..although we didn't walk!). The children didn't find it easy to know exactly how they should wash their hands when they were by themselves, when there was hot water available only from one sink, which sometimes was being used by other guests doing their washing up (fair enough, not clear where to wash hands, and where to wash your bowls!) The cafe and pub both I'd recommend highly, as I would the walk along the beach to Torcross and Slapton Sands. Clean with good amenities.
